Day 10 ~ Fridge and Freezer
Contest for the most expired item or mystery item is ON!
As you cruise through your fridge and freezer looking for tossable items we would love to be in on the excitement with you. Take a pic and share with us as we continue to amuse and delight each other on this de-clutter adventure.
<— Check this out- some expired chicken apple sausages that are surely from Summer 2012. EEK- time to go!!
<— And crinkle cut fries… not even mine. And I can’t even blame their appearance on my dog. She doesn’t have thumbs. And thus- clearly can’t shop for fries.
My fantasy self drinks a healthy fruit smoothie ever day and needs a LOT of frozen strawberries for this endeavor. Side note- my healthy smoothie drinking fantasy self also REALLY enjoys Sea Salt Caramel Talenti Gelato. There it is… just above the homemade Lemoncello Liquor. Two words: Yum & Yum.———————————>
I know you know that our 30 day De-Clutter to De- Light challenge is way beyond just throwing stuff out.
It’s about releasing the items that may be in the way of you having more s-p-a-c-e in your life. It’s about having items
(and people and thoughts and experiences)
that vibrate the energy of JOY around you.
Alas- how much more aware can we be about the actual food and nutrition choices we make?
Will this watermelon be a yummy, healthful contribution to my body?
And- just as important of a question: “Will this thought or this story be a enhancing addition to this moment and my future?”
If it’s a “rotten” thought or an expired experience… please my friend- do yourself a favor and trash it. Just like you would avoid biting into moldy, old, expired, stinky, tainted food I encourage you to consider NOT re-experiencing the old, expired, stinky thoughts and stories of your past.
Ask yourself: If this thought or emotion or event was a food item- would I want to eat it or spit it out?
What if it was as easy to release your expired habits and thoughts as it is to pitch the leftovers?
We LOVE hearing from you!! Please comment below or on our Facebook page. Post those picks of expired items and join us again tomorrow for more de-cluttering adventures!!
