Ready to let go of limitation and live joyfully?

YOU are enough!

Let’s stop the Monkey Business!  Enough Not Being Enough!

We posted this image recently on our Facebook Page and people responded to the message.

Why do we frequently find ourselves stuck in the trap of not “enoughness”?  Not smart enough, not pretty enough, not strong enough, not talented enough, not loving enough, not rich enough, just not enough. Well, I say enough of this malarkey!

It’s interesting that when we rock at something and nail 98% of it (if someone was keeping score…) it’s the 2% that could have gone better that we dwell on and mull over.  What if your “enoughness” isn’t dependant on anything external? What if your “enoughness” doesn’t change over time? What IF your “enoughness” has everything to do with your being, your essence and who you are in the inside? It’s who you have always been and who you are in this very moment… Surrender.

You are already beyond enough. There is nothing to fix or add, but always feel free to expand your awesomeness. The world needs YOU-not another, better, different, more “enough-y” version of you. This isn’t about settling for average, in fact it’s not about ranking yourself at all. You are beyond measure.

The feeling of not being good enough can act as a very self-limiting belief and we are all about the limitless living around here!

If you continue to look outside yourself for something that can only be found within, you will be forever be in a place of “stuckiness.” Don’t let that happen to you.

Learn to love yourself for who you are right now, for what you have in this moment and what you know this very instant. And…by doing so you will be able to become more!
We can choose to truly accept ourselves—with all our quirks and shenanigantics and we will still be enough. It’s true!

Question: If you’re feeling stuck in the enoughness trap, can you observe without judgments how these negative comparisons affect your available energy for work, family, relationships—and for yourself? How do they block the real you from showing up?

Here are some more questions to think about:

  • What if I accept myself and treat myself in a loving and caring manner regardless of my accomplishments or lack of them?
  • Why does “failing” at something transform me into being a failure?
  • What would my life be like with less pressure to do and be something else other than who I am in this moment?
  • What would occur if I reveled in progress, not perfection?

Life is a never-ending process of learning and growing in skills, experience, wisdom and compassion. Each one of us is worthy, lovable, competent, effective, attractive and smart enough to live lives of contribution, caring and value.

Just Be You. It’s deliciously enough. Always.
